It’s been several months since I’ve recorded an episode. Today, I briefly discuss some recent hardships that have left me feeling overwhelmed, inadequate and fearful. I also note the importance of staying positive, acknowledging my blessings with gratitude and leading with love and compassion while accepting support from loved ones.

This is an episode that I recorded in March 2023 this year, that I never posted for some reason. It’s not the best sound quality because I was walking home from work so it’s kind of loud in the background, but I still think it’s important to publish it in case anyone who is suffering with autoimmune disorders, can resonate with any of it, and somehow feel supported. So forgive the audio quality and again I hope this does help anyone who may need it.

In this episode, I re-introduced myself to the audience, since it’s been months since my last episode, and I discuss a couple of topics that have been playing a profound role in my life recently: one being the importance of vulnerability of self into the world, and also the importance of self examination of one’s life, including our work life and ensuring our well-being and quality of life. I invite others to take stock in these areas of your lives, and how they are affecting you either positively or negatively, as well as your loved ones, stay safe!

After a short hibernation, today I talk about what has taken me away from here. This includes some changes in my work, including my work on an exciting new non-pharmacological treatment for ADHD, called eTNS. I also open up about my post-covid daze. And I don't mean from having covid, but from the effects of everything we've been dealing with and continue to as we navigate this new reality. I'm learning the importance of acknowledging how significant the impact has been on my life and relationships. And also why it's so helpful to be honest and authentic with ourselves and others.

This was an impulsive live where I was planning on having my friend on to talk about single parenting and all of the challenges that go along with it, but also the indescribable love of being a mom. She ended up not making it, but we will plan to try again tomorrow. So the live toon a turn and it's worth a listen. Enjoy!
